La Parrilla Wilshire
1300 Wilshire Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90017
(213) 353-4980

Thirty-three years says a lot about a restaurant, which is how long La Parrilla has been open for business. This Mexican kitchen offers a whole lot of tasty platos, but first and foremost, flag down the roaming guacamole cart. Made exclusively with Hass avocados, La Parrilla's version of guacamole is simple in nature, but complex in taste made with jalapeno, onion, cilantro, salt and of course, avocado. The guacamole here complements the restaurant's pescados (fish), carne asada azteca, fajitas, enchiladas and tostadas.
