DAVIS – Seven students and five recent graduate students of UC Davis had their visas terminated by the federal government, the university said on Saturday.

The university is providing resources for those impacted and says the situation remains fluid as the number of affected students may change.

"The federal government has not explained the reasons behind these terminations," UC Davis said in a statement.

Federal agents have not entered the campus, UC Davis said, and no members of the community were placed in custody.

Stanford and UC Berkeley also reported several members of their campuses had their visas revoked.
